As these things weren't getting much better, I let them sit for quite a while. I smoked another today and it was quite good. No harshness, and lots of creamy coffee flavors. A good bit of wood and some hay flavors also. If the rest are this good, I very highly recommend buying a box and letting them sit for 9 months or a year.
